Recruitment Information
Rotten to the Core is a gaming clan focused on competitive and non-competitive play in on-line multiplayer video games. We also have and support multiple servers. Currently our emphasis is in shooters but we will try other games as they emerge. There are two types of RTTC members, full members [RTTC]name and Trial Members [RTTC]name[R]
RTTC is open to all players that wish to try us. On PC we use a Trial period (18+ 2 weeks, under 18 4 weeks) and a member vote prior to getting full membership. On the Xbox things are a bit more open though there isn't a trial, if you're not right for us you will be asked not to represent us. The primary requirements are:
- Mature Gamers - 18+ Preferred, exceptions for those that can really prove themselves as RTTC members.
- People who want to have fun more than anything.
- Competitive Gamers -We are on CAL-O, HTGN and TWL League's
- Casual Gamers - We pub play on regular basis as a group for fun.
- Dedication - Not looking for any fly by night players. (Clan hoppers need not apply)
If you have demonstrated outstanding skill in our public servers and express an interest in RTTC, one of our team can invite you to join. We require that you NOT be a member of another clan while you play with the RTTC team. To be considered for full membership you will need to show dedication and the characteristics in our Rules and Regs.
RTTC offers players the opportunity and privileges to be part of the clan without the commitment to competitive play though that is always available as well.

Server Rules
Cheating:
Cheating is not permitted on our server's.
Goes without saying but common sense isn't always that common.
Cheating also includes use of any map exploits or glitches.
If caught using a map exploit or glitch, we will give you fair warning one time, and one time only.
No Recruiting or Advertising:
Players are not permitted to recruit for their clan, if you need to recruit do it on your own server.
Same goes for any player advertising their website or server. We will ban you from returning if you don't get the picture.
Team Killing:
Intentional TK'ing will result in the player being kicked or banned from the server.
No Team Stacking:
if the talent is overwhelmingly lopsided, a RTTC server admin may swap players around or a RTTC member may request a player to switch sides.
If requested to switch teams, please do so.
If there are multiple players from the same clan in the server, we require they try and stay on the same side; this will prevent accusations of ghosting.
Impersonation/Name Stealing:
Do not impersonate other players on the server.
If you are caught impersonating a RTTC member you will be banned from all servers.
Spam:
Spamming the server via chat or voice taunts is annoying, don't do it. Gunfire Doesn't count. LOL
Profanity:
Although we don't consider the [RTTC] servers as G- rated, excessive or constant use of profanity is not allowed grounds for removal.
Server Disruption:
This consist of anything done to disrupt the server, irritate or annoy other players.
We realize this covers a lot of ground but simply comes down to
DON'T WHINE!!!
People play on our servers to have fun, not listen to someone constantly cry about...
Camping, lag, what weapon/perk a player uses or anything else.
If you lack the self control not to disrupt the server, an admin will be more than happy to make up for your lack of self control by removing you from the server.
Server disruption also includes purposely doing anything to impede another player's ability to play the game.
For example: following around teammates shooting at them. blocking doorways, ect....
Cheat Accusations:
Don't accuse other players of cheating.
I know it comes as a shock to many but there are better players than you playing the game.
If you think someone is cheating you have several options, none of which is constantly accusing others of cheating.
If you think someone is cheating your options are:
1) Record a demo and email it to an admin or post in the appropriate forums on our site.
2) If you have proof. Post it in the appropriate forum.
3) If a RTTC admin/member is on the server with you, request them to check the player but do not abuse this option.
If another player is constantly accusing you of cheating, please bring it to our attention and we will take care of the offending player.
The focus of the above rules is to ensure our servers are a fun place to play.
We realize not every possible situation can be addressed in the server rules.
If a RTTC member asks you to do something, then abide by their request. (With-in reason)
If you feel an admin has acted in an unfair manner or abused their admin privileges.
You are welcome to address the issue in the forum but DO NOT do so on the server.
If you think you were unfairly kicked or banned, please provide as much information as possible (date, time, which server and/or screenshots if available.)

Rules And Regulations
[RTTC] strives to be a well respected clan in the gaming community. Not everyone possesses what it takes become a [RTTC] member. We are extremely dedicated. We started this clan for gamers to have fun however; we must all play by the following rules and regulations.
The most important criteria are that you respect all other members of [RTTC] as well as the gaming community while you wear the [RTTC] tag; whether in our server or another server. We hold respect, good sportsmanship and the gamers right to have fun above all else. Additionally, we also respect your right to defend yourself should another gamer in the gaming community start trash talking. Discrimination or Racism is not acceptable, and remember you came to our clan and should respect us.
- ANYONE IN [RTTC] CAUGHT CHEATING WILL BE IMMEDIATELY DISMISSED FROM THE CLAN. NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
- Try not to use excess profanity on any server. The occasional slip is of course ok - Let’s stand out from the others. On our site and TeamSpeak its open game.
- Have integrity - When an idiot is on the server don't go back and forth with them. Getting tied up in an argument with an IDIOT makes us look bad and does nothing to solve the problem.
- Try to keep the teams balanced.
- Fair play ALWAYS. If a player is on the server and you/we are "owning" them try not to point that out all the time, it makes all of us look bad.
- If you say you will be at a match, practice or a scrimmage, BE THERE. 10 Minutes Prior or you may lose your spot. (Practice and scrims aren’t near as important, but matches are posted in advance so BE THERE or don’t say you will.)
- When we get our asses handed to us in a match or scrimmage don't accuse ANYONE of anything or discuss things like this openly. If we lose or get our asses kicked, take it like a man and learn from it. If there is some "problem", discuss it first with all [rttc] members involved before discussing the situation with anyone else.
- With the amount of members we have, it takes only a small amount of money per member to keep our servers and website running. This is never required but will always help out [RTTC].
- Members can only be in ONE clan at a time, if you’re with RTTC, you cannot join any other clan be it on a PC or any other console. Doing so, gives us the right to cancel your membership with the clan.
- Once you Leave the Clan under unfriendly terms or get the Boot, you cannot return to the clan. The only exceptions will be if you are invited by an Admin/Staff member to return. Any former members that left and return unannounced will be promptly excused from the Clan.
- Members are urged to use the forums and actively participate in the discussions. Rotten to the Core makes a decent attempt to keep all its members informed as to the happenings and news within the clan. If you don't visit our form of communication we can't keep you updated to everything new. The forums are a way for us to communicate to you and for all the members to share and discuss what they need to talk about. Go there and be a part of the clan.
- Leave of Absence -Any members that are planning on going on a LOA need to post a LOA in the members lounge of the forums. -Any members that do not could be confused for inactivity and in turn may be member removed accidentally.
- Resignations-Any members that are planning on leaving Rotten to the Core are required to post a resignation in the DISCHARGE NOTIFICATIONS forum. -Any member that disregards this will not be admitted back into the clan if he/she decides to come back to RTTC. Exceptions will not be made to this in any way. -Any member who leaves twice will not be admitted back into the clan without a 2/3 vote from members.
Additional Staff R & R
- Staff must promote and enforce the clan and the rules with the highest regards.
- Staff duties are delegated to members of the Clan who have shown exceptional honor, loyalty, integrity skills. Staff members are chosen by Xtreme or LasVegas and will not lose their rank unless a severe break of Clan code has been acted upon, or they resign.
- Any New or current Staff cannot abuse their powers in any way. Cannot use their rank as leverage for game-related requests will not be tolerated. If this happens that Staff will lose their rank and cannot be Staff again.
- Staff members must assist in screening new members and evaluate their clan worthiness. Be educated on the traits of a genuine clan member and watch out for clan jumpers. Your decisions reflect your abilities as a Staff.
Remember.... FUN and FRIENDS are ALWAYS more important than winning!!
